Enrich@ILT is the brain child of Marlene Campbell whose vision was to develop a learning centre dedicated to gifted and talented education.
In 2008, Marlene presented her idea to 23 Primary Schools in the Invercargill City area. The schools collaborated and approached the Invercargill Licensing Trust and the ILT Foundation to fund this unique proposition. In 2009 Enrich@ILT was born!
Enrich@ILT opened with a roll of 55 students in 2009 growing to 143 students in 2015!
>Enrich@ILT runs from Monday through to Friday.
>Enrich@ILT caters to Year 3-6 students.
>Enrich@ILT is governed by the "Invercargill Primary School's Educational Initiatives Trust".
The Trustees are Andrea Joyce, Peter Forde, Jamin Lietze and Angela Newell (ILT Representative) .
The ongoing support from the Invercargill Licensing Trust and the ILT Foundation has provided a unique opportunity for gifted and talented children from Invercargill schools'.
Enrich@ILT is extremely well resourced. An innovative centre immersed in ICT that is the envy of many.
